2024 KEYNOTE SPEAKER: SHAWN WONG
Shawn Wong is the author of the award-winning novel, Homebase and the novel, American Knees, a romantic comedy that was made into an award-winning feature film. He is also the co-editor and editor of six Asian American and American multicultural literary anthologies including the pioneering anthology Aiiieeeee! An Anthology of Asian American Writers. He is currently the Byron and Alice Lockwood Professor in the Humanities and Professor of English at the University of Washington. He has also taught numerous times at the UW Rome Center, because someone has to make the personal sacrifice to teach in Italy.
