FAFSA/WAFSA Support
Student Aid Support
Nearly 60 percent of all TCC students receive some kind of financial aid to help pay for school. We have support to help you apply and find out if you are eligible.
FAFSA
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form is an application for federal student aid. You need to complete the FAFSA form to apply for federal student aid such as federal grants, work-study funds, and loans. Completing and submitting the FAFSA form is free and easier than ever, and it gives you access to federal student aid—the largest source of aid— to help you pay for college or career/trade school
We can help with:
- Assistance creating a StudentAid.gov account
- Assistance filling out application
WAFSA
The Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA) is for people who don’t file a federal FAFSA application. If you have completed the FAFSA, you have already applied for federal and state financial aid and do not need to complete the WASFA unless your college asks you to. A person should complete the WASFA if they are undocumented or do not qualify for federal financial aid because of their immigration status. Find out more about undocumented student resources.
