Are You on Track? Check in and Explore Programs 

No classes are held before 3 p.m. on Educational Planning Day, held once per quarter. This is your chance to: 

  • Check in with your advisor to make sure your program completion, graduation, transfer and career goals are on track. ** PLEASE NOTE: Some departments, such as Running Start, will not be able to individually advise every student on Educational Planning Day. Feel free to make an appointment for a date before or after Educational Planning Day.** 
  • Patricipate in group advising activities. 
  • Explore programs that interest you.

Time: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. 
Location: Building 16, Room 319 
P.C. problems? Bring your computer or device to the Information Systems Power Up event! Free and open to all TCC students and employees. Intake ends at 1 p.m. Please do not bring college-owned computers or devices. 
 

Senate Meeting 

Time: 3:30 p.m. 

Location: Building 11 Senate Room and online

These information sessions, group advising sessions, and other activities offer more in-depth information about program completion, transfer pathways, and career options for students currently in programs. Students who want to learn more about a particular program are also welcome to attend.

 

Chemistry Information Session 

Time: 10 - 11 a.m.

Engineering Updates 

Information for Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, Aero/Astro, Industrial, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Bioengineering, Chemical, Manufacturing and Materials Science Engineering students. Up-to-date information about TCC offerings and university engineering program requirements.   

Guest Speaker

Each quarter, Engineering invites an engineer from a different discipline tell you more about their career path and recommendations. Questions are encouraged. This quarter's guest speaker is Daniel Dye. 

Daniel is a Senior Transportation Engineer with experience in a variety of transportation projects in the Puget Sound and Central Washington. He has managed or served as the lead analyst for a variety of projects including parking analysis, traffic operations analysis, travel demand modeling, long-range transportation planning, and impact fee program development. His recent South Sound experience includes work for the Cities of Tacoma, Lacey, and Puyallup; Pierce County Parks and Metro Parks Tacoma; Thurston County; and work for WSDOT on the SR 167 project. Daniel relocated to Tacoma this summer and is looking forward to being closer to his clients.
